The services sector rebounded in June. But with new Covid-19 cases rising in many parts of the country, the big question is whether the snapback will stick.

The Institute for Supply Management on Monday said that its index for nonmanufacturing activity rose to 57.1 last month from 45.4 in May, marking its highest level since February. That follows last week’s report from the ISM that its manufacturing index rose to 52.6 in June from 43.1 in May. Anything above 50 represents an expansion in activity.
